Re advertised due to no response from winner bidder.
Up for sale is my 2000 Mercedes S320 running on Petrol and LPG. I brought the car 3 years ago with a mileage of 108k, it is now 164k. During that time it has been totally reliable except for an engine sensor fault last year.
The car had no service record with it when I brought it and I have had it serviced by the local Garage/Mechanical Engineer friend of mine. As you can see the car is in the best colour combination and is fitted with rather nice AMG wheels which really set it apart.
We have travelled all round Europe on our holidays as well as all over the UK.
In case you are not familiar with LPG it is one of motoring’s best keep secret! I pay 49p per litre and it returns the same MPG as if it is running on that very expensive petrol stuff. That equates to an equivalent of 60MPG on runs and 40MPG knocking around town. Fiesta running costs in a luxury saloon.
As well as all the usual toys this car is fitted with soft close doors and cooled ventilated seats. How good is that.
Everything works as it should and the ride is like a magic carpet with the air suspension (you won’t want springs after this). Only thing that is below par is the climate control, ( you need to set to 12 degrees for normal heating and low to bring in the air condition, which works well.
The car is also fitted with a removable towing hitch.
12 months MOT
New front wings
Very cheap to run
Heated, cooled electric memory front seats
Recent new rear discs
Recent rear suspension re bushed
Rear sun blind
Automatic rain detecting wipers
Blue Tooth phone kit fitted
It is a Mercedes and so it does have rust. Usual places, door bottoms, rear wheel archs, around sunroof
Advisories on MOT where harsh!
Diff leaking (needs sorting)
Rear shocker light misting (needs sorting)
Rear flexi hose leaking slightly (very minor)
Front exhaust mounting bracket broken (no idea how he spotted it)
Very slight play in front track rod end (Very very slight play)
Front discs worn (these will need doing in about 10k)
Hand brake warning light (needs lighting with foot to go out, been like that a while)
You can see that I have accurately described to car and not ‘missed out’ the bad points so you can bid with confidence. Overall a great car and a pleasure to drice.
As every I would recommend viewing before bidding.
